It was a beautiful day outside. The sun was brightening up the light blue sky, and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. Lots of people were outside, and Jude figured they were heading towards the pool. It looked like a lot of people were going there, after it had opened about a week ago. He sighed, and continued walking. He really wanted some ice cream, and now that he was twelve, he could get there without Brad bringing him. But Brad was in college, and he missed him. He saw Valentine sometimes, and she taught him how to play the electric guitar, but she was going to college, too. Jude was holding his skateboard in one hand, and his other hand was in his pocket.
He wondered where Judette could be. She had told him that he was going to the pier, but he didn't see her there. Maybe she went to the pool, or went back home. He shrugged at his thoughts, and then started thinking about Hikari. They hadn't seen each other since were five, and he really missed her. Wondering if Hikari could possibly be in Vipercork, he grinned. Brad had told him that he saw Hiromi at college. Maybe Hikari was in Vipecork, too!
As he reached the ice cream parlor, Jude pushed the glass door open and sighed. The air-conditioning cooled him. He reached into his pocket, then looked at the menu. Jude walked over to the counter, and smiled. "A vanilla ice-cream, please." he told the man at the counter. "Two scoops." Jude licked his lips. Ice cream on a beautiful, but hot day would be great.
As the man prepared the ice cream for him, he sat at a table that was near the window, and gazed out for a few minutes. He saw people rushing towards the direction of the pool. Jude started thinking if he should go to the pool, too. He saw the man place the cone on the counter, the vanilla ice-cream dripping, and he smiled and walked over quickly.
Grabbing the ice-cream from the counter and licking it, he smiled and walked towards the table, and sat back down.

"Mom I'm heading out, I'll be back around nine ok ." the brown hair brunette said as she walked out her house when she heard her mom reply. Sighing she didn't want to be stuck in her house the whole day, it would be extremely boring. It didn't help that Hiromi, Daichi, Hiroshi, Haku and the others went away, she was now stuck with nothing exciting to do. She sigh and kicked a rock, what was she going to do till Monday. Her mom already transfer her to South Johnson Junior High. Smiling a bit, her sister called her and told her that Jude was her, she giggled. That did made her mood brighten, but still she didn't know where he was. She really missed him, even if she haven't seen him since she was 5, she still remembers that cute chubby face of his. Laughing she shook her head, he probably wasn't chubby anymore. " I could so go for some Pistachio ice cream right now" Hikari said, she bites her bottom lip and starts to dig through her pockets and smiles when she pulls out a ten dollar bill. She starts to walk to the direction of the ice cream parlor, when she opens the door. All she feels is relief when the cool air hits her head on,not saying that it was extremely hot outside. But it was summer and the air was humid and sticky. She walks up and orders her Ice Cream.

Jude continued on licking his vanilla ice-cream, smiling as he licked it again around and bit the cone. He spotted a beautiful girl walk in, and he started feeling very excited. Hikari?! he bit his lower lip, very hard. Maybe she didn't remember him. But how could Hikari forget him? Even though they haven't seen each other since they were five, the two were like best-friends. Was it really her? Jude approached the girl, still holding his cone. "Hikari?" he managed to say, seeing her face. His blue eyes lit up with happiness. "D-d-do you remember me?" he whispered slightly, still biting his lip. "It's me, Jude." he told her, starting to wonder if this was really Hikari.
He had mistaken her for a couple of other people in the town, and was wondering if this could really be his friend. A small smile appeared on his face. "It is you!" he finally exclaimed, then went over and hugged her tightly. He moved back slowly, watching as some other kids stared at him.
"What the heck?" Jude heard one of the girls say, but he sighed and licked his ice-cream again. He heard his phone chime, and took it out of his pocket, reading over his sister's text. It was Judette, and she was wondering where he was, and if he wanted to meet up with him at the beach.
Jude put his phone back into his pocket, and smiled at Hikari.

Hikari grins when the guy gave her , her cold treat. She hums in approval and begins licking her ice cream . Hearing someone call her name, she slowly turns around and raises her brow, who was this kid she never seem him before, though he did look familiar. She gasps, and almost drops her ice cream she couldn't help but look shock, this guy before her was Jude. Not just any Jude the guy she has been, sort of crushing on for years now. When he hugged her, her whole face turned a deep pink. "Um....-hi." the short brunette said stuttering a bit. When he lets go of her, she notices that a bunch of kids where looking at them, not that she cared though. She smiled and looked back at him. "Long time no see eh Jude."
