Kari was born to Kentaro and Kaoru Aihara in January 1993, in Italy, Milan. She was taken from her parents for over eight years because her aunt Isabel wanted to teach the young child the art of dance. She was treated pretty badly for those eight years, her aunt who she thought as kind and lovable turn out to be quite the opposite. At the age of eight, Kari was close friends with her cousin Clarisse and enjoyed playing superhero games with her. Though one day when she had taken a walk through Aunt Isabel’s lovely garden, she heard a scream.
Even at that age Kari was shown to be a courageous girl, she ran over to where she heard the scream come from and gasp at the sight she saw in front of her. Kari looked on helplessly as Celia was murdered right in front of her, before she could lift a finger to help her; Clarisse falls to the ground in a bloody mess. She looks up from her cousin who was whispering ‘run’ at her, and saw her Aunt cover in blood. Letting out a scream she ran away from the murder scene, tripping once or twice before finally making it to a police station. She started explaining the whole situation, the officers shook their heads and looked down at the eight year Kari with pity, and they later arrested her Aunt Isabel and a small ceremony for her Cousin Clarisse. Later that week Kari’s parents came to pick up the shaken eight year old. Among the years Kari began to become her normal self, and happy go lucky girl who never gives up.

Kari is caring and compassionate and is often marked by a fierce determination to aid others. She stated herself that she never turns away from people who need her help.On the other hand, Kari can be overly domineering. For all her kindness and compassion, she is sometimes very self-righteous,
has a rather nasty temper, and can be extremely fierce when provoked. She also is very set in her ideals and frequently refuses to relent on her views in the face of opposition. She is known to never give up no matter what the circumtances.Despite being one of the more compassionate members of the Aihara family, Kari is one of the least willing to let go of a grudge, especially against those who she feels have betrayed her trust.
